HALLIE DUKE, PHD
Dr. Duke is a seasoned facilitator and strategist bringing versatile skills and strong leadership to the design and execution of solutions. In her two decades of professional experience, she led and designed numerous projects and initiatives across a wide variety of health, policy, and technical topics that enabled programs and leaders to successfully navigate changes and accomplish their goals.
Dr. Duke graduated with a BA from Texas A&M University and completed her MS and PhD at the University of Georgia.
MY APPROACH
I work with leaders to implement strategic designs that bring visionary ideas into fruition and improve business outcomes.
The principles I follow in creating tools and solutions for clients are
- listening carefully and understanding what needs to be addressed or accomplished;
- maintaining focus the best interests of the project/business outcome;
- mindful and honest communication;
- integrity and rigor in analysis and reporting;
- solution-oriented planning based on insight and creativity;
- empowering individuals and teams to create and implement solutions to the systems they own and understand;
- wisdom and discretion; and
- remaining calm and capable in stressful situations.
Throughout my career, the accomplishment of which I am most proud is having excellent working relationships based on trust and respect – trust that I’m going to come through for my client, and professional respect for all the individuals with whom I work. I have developed exceptional interpersonal skills that enable me to work well with diverse teams, bringing out the best people have to offer the project while maintaining focus on creating actionable plans and positive business outcomes.
WHAT IT’S LIKE WORKING WITH DR. HALLIE DUKE?
While serving as IT Project Management Office (PMO) Director with a large government agency, I had the great privilege to work with Dr. Hallie Duke. With both a new PMO and associated information technology governance processes being defined and implemented, significant organizational change management and communications to stakeholders at all levels of the agency were essential to a successful outcome. Dr. Duke demonstrated a unique capability to identify the best approach forward, anticipate potential issues, and facilitate our organization’s successful navigation to the intended outcomes.
